Lakeside was formed in 1977, at the same time entering a Men's team into the Derby Area Tennis League. In 1986 we also entered a Men's team into the Nottinghamshire Tennis League and from 2010 - 2020 a Mixed team the Derby Area Tennis League. During winter all teams play in indoor and outdoor leagues.

 

In May 2013 following funding from SITA, Fields in Trust and Broxtowe Borough Council all 4 courts have been refurbished in blue with green surrounds.
